This Sunday is our family service, starting at 6 p.m. Come along to hear God’s Word, share in fellowship and activities and worship and prayer.
Next Sunday (13th March), our morning service will be at Cherry Tree Court in Highgate. Come along to bless the residents there and pray for opportunities to share the gospel at this meeting.
In the evening (6 p.m.) we will be having a dedication service. In our church, we don’t christen babies but dedicate them to God, as Hannah did with Samuel and Mary and Joseph did with Jesus. We are grateful for the gift of new life and know that we need God’s help in bringing up our children. A dedication service is always a time of rejoicing and thankfulness as well as a time for us all to make solemn promises, for a child is part of the church family. As we looked at during the Women’s World Day of Prayer, Jesus welcomed children and reminded us we can all learn so much from them, so we are praying for great blessings at this service. Please bring refreshments to this service as we’ll be sharing a meal afterwards.
